  • To evaluate achievement outcomes for the end of key stage performance
  • To evaluate rates of progress and attainment by all students including any underachieving groups
  • The review the impact of actions taken by the schools to improve achievement
  • To identify and celebrate student achievements
  • To agree improvement priorities in relation to student achievement
  • To review the College’s performance against the achievement criteria outlined in the Ofsted evaluation schedule
  • To evaluate the curriculum ensuring it is balanced, broadly based, meets the needs of all pupils and complies with statutory requirements
  • To review evidence about the quality of teaching and learning
  • To review the effectiveness of the College’s CPD programme and its impact on the quality of teaching and learning
  • To consider stakeholders’ views about the quality of teaching and learning
  • To evaluate the extent of students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development
  • To agree improvement priorities in relation to Quality of Teaching
  • To review the College’s performance against the Quality of Teaching criteria outlined in the Ofsted evaluation schedule

  • To ensure the health, safety and well-being of staff and students
  • To evaluate students’ attitudes to learning and conduct in lessons and around the College
  • To evaluate students’ behaviour, how well it is managed and the effectiveness of the College’s actions to improve it
  • To review data on exclusions and the impact of the College’s work to follow up and support excluded students
  • To evaluate students’ attendance and punctuality and the impact of actions taken to improve attendance
  • To review stakeholders’ views on behaviour and safety
  • To agree improvement priorities in relation to behaviour and safety
  • To review the College’s performance against Behaviour and Safety criteria outlined in the Ofsted evaluation schedule
