Geography Field Trip to Carsington Reservoir
The aim of this visit was to provide students with a valuable and interesting experience related to the work on rivers studied in class over the last half term. The students had a walk over the dam, found out that the reservoir was only 71% full and visited the bird hide.
At the visitors' centre, students completed a variety of tasks linked to interactive quizzes and also carried out an environment survey at Stones Island.
Students were able to visit the café at lunchtime where many of them enjoyed chips and ice creams! They also enjoyed buying souvenirs from the gift shops. Everyone was a credit to Sir Jonathan North. Once again Miss White had done an amazing job of organising the trip and I am sure it will be one which the students will remember for a long time.
