Sir Jonathan North receives Flagship Status for Third Time
We are delighted to confirm that following our recent Inclusion Quality Mark Review in May we have secured the Inclusion Quality Mark Flagship status for another year. This accreditation assesses our inclusion practice annually and we are given a status according to our success. The Flagship status is the highest that can be awarded to a school.
We would like to share our assessor’s, Dave Stott, final recommendation with you.
‘I am completely confident that the school has the expertise and capacity to fulfil their well-deserved status as an Inclusion Quality Mark Flagship School and will be a strong partner for all the members of their IQM Cluster Group. The school continues to place the Inclusion agenda at the heart of all its practice and interventions and is a leader in innovative approaches I would recommend without reservation that Sir Jonathan North Community College retains the accreditation of Flagship School and is reassessed in 12 months’ time.’
We are very proud of our inclusive practice and we continue to be the only school with the Inclusion Quality Mark Flagship status in Leicester. In fact, there are only about 100 schools in the UK with this prestigious award and we look forward to sharing our good practice more widely as a Flagship school.
