GDPR and the College
You may have been made aware of the new changes to Data Protection legislation coming into effect on Friday 25 May 2018. We do not want to add to the deluge of paperwork flooding parents’ letterboxes and inboxes, but we do want to assure all students, parents and anyone connected to the college that we have made the necessary arrangements to ensure that we are GDPR compliant. We will not contact you unless we need to, but by providing contact details, parents permit the college to send them appropriate information and regular communication pertaining to their children’s education. The college also makes use of a limited number of online systems for legitimate educational purposes ranging from Show My Homework to UCAS Progress, (for onward progression to further education).
