Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
The PE faculty captures the interest of our students in a wide range of sports from trampolining and football to skipping. Ms Lowther and her team work hard to promote the benefits of sport to our students. As well as the well known benefits to health and fitness, there have been many links made between sport and confidence and a positive self -image.
Our School Sports Co-ordinator has also worked with the Leicester School Sports Partnership to develop sport at Sir Jonathan North and with our neighbouring primary schools. Recently, we were invited to contribute to an article on sport for the secondary school magazine for teachers, called ‘Teacher’. Please click here to view photos

The faculty offers a wide variety of extra curricular activities including:Aerobics

All activities are open to all students and are free of charge. Some clubs are run at lunchtime and others are after school until 4.15pm with the exception of basketball which finishes at 4.30 on Monday and Thursdays.
